About

I run projects from initial conversation to final delivery. I do it well when the situation is complicated and the stakes are high.

As a regional event manager I coordinated hundreds of clients and vendors while staffing a 200+ performer roster across multiple cities simultaneously. At Bitcoin Ekasi in South Africa, I spent three years teaching and managing projects remotely, and four months on the ground running deployments, including training staff hands-on, writing documentation, setting up field sites, and shipping a community-wide product rollout in a low-resource environment. I also build web applications, which means I can talk to development teams without a translator.

I figure out who needs what, by when. Then I make sure it happens.

What I do well

Project planning and logistics

Scoping work, mapping dependencies, building timelines, catching the details that sink projects when missed.

Stakeholder coordination

Years managing hundreds of clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Comfortable explaining complex processes to people encountering them for the first time.

Technical fluency

I build with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, React, and Node.js. I speak the language of development teams.

Training and onboarding

University teaching and field training experience. I bring teams up to speed on new tools and processes, and the knowledge sticks.

Documentation and process design

User guides, process docs, operational records. Work becomes repeatable. Nothing lives only in one person's head.

Delivery under constraints

International fieldwork and live events. I ship results when resources are limited and timelines don't move.

Project Manager and Educator, Bitcoin Ekasi (South Africa)

Remote education and coordination (2023–2024), then hands-on project management on the ground in 2025.

Led production and rollout of community-wide Lightning address QR keychains, including staff training for ongoing operations.
Co-wrote user guide for Bolt Card creation using BTCPay Server. Trained staff on the full workflow.
Trained staff on 3D printing equipment and processes.
Set up and tested multiple field sites for home solar mining via home automation.
Created multiple websites for the organization and local businesses.

Regional Event Manager, Bluewater Kings Band

Booking and staffing for regional musical event services across multiple cities.

Coordinated logistics across hundreds of clients and vendors.
Auditioned, evaluated, and managed a roster of 200+ performers.
Owned the full calendar: multiple simultaneous events, multiple cities.
Guided high-net-worth clients through an unfamiliar industry they'd likely use once in their lives. Answered complex questions clearly, built trust fast, and made people feel confident about decisions they had no frame of reference for.

2005 – present

Bandleader and Touring Musician

Led multiple ensembles simultaneously. Coordinated travel, personnel, and scheduling across 18 states and Europe, often with and alongside nationally recognized artists.

Designed and delivered courses across multiple semesters.

Developed curricula from scratch: History of Hip Hop, History of Jazz, Baroque/Classical and Medieval/Renaissance Surveys.
